Privacy notice
This notice explains what Utility Engineers collects through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Last updated 2026-10-24.
What we collect when you send an enquiry
- The details you type into the enquiry form: what you need (a general enquiry, a quotation, a technical assessment or support), your name, company, phone or WhatsApp number, email, industrial sector, factory location, the services and plant systems you select, project stage, timeline, and your description of the requirement. If you start from a cost calculator, the figures you entered and its estimate go with it.
- Any files you choose to attach, such as RFQs, drawings or specifications. Attaching files is optional.
- How you arrived at the website, when it is available: the referring website, the first page you opened, and campaign tags in the link you followed (such as utm_source). We use this only to understand which channels bring enquiries.
When you send the form through this website, your enquiry and any files you attach are stored in a database and in private storage on the website's server, where only our staff can open them after signing in. We use these details only to respond to your enquiry, prepare a proposal if you ask for one, and manage any project that follows. We do not sell them or share them for others' marketing.
WhatsApp and email
If you choose WhatsApp or email, the message is written for you on your own device and is only sent when you press send in that app. Those messages are then handled under WhatsApp's or your email provider's terms as well as this notice.
Website analytics
This website does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies.
Technical consultant chat
If you use the technical consultant on the website, your questions and its answers are stored on our server so the conversation can continue and so we can improve the answers. Phone numbers and email addresses are removed before a message is stored. Your internet address is not stored; only a one-way code made from it is kept for a short time to stop abuse. Conversations are deleted automatically after a limited period (14 days unless we set a shorter one). If you ask an engineer to contact you from the chat, what you enter is handled like an enquiry.
The consultant answers from information we publish on this website. If we switch on an external AI service for it, the text of your question (with phone numbers and email addresses removed) and the relevant website information are sent to that service to write the answer; that service does not receive your contact details. Please do not type personal or confidential information into the chat.
When the consultant cannot reach our server (for example in a copy of the website opened from your computer), it answers from a copy of the same published information inside the page. In that mode your questions are not sent or stored anywhere, and a request to an engineer goes out only if you send it yourself on WhatsApp or through the enquiry form.
Data stored in your browser
- For the duration of your visit, the browser's session storage keeps how you arrived at the site (described above) so it can be attached to an enquiry. It is deleted when you close the tab.
- If analytics is offered, your accept or reject choice is stored in local storage so we do not ask again on every page.
- If you open the consultant chat, session storage keeps the conversation's reference number (so it continues on the next page) and, if the consultant is switched off, a note not to show its button again. Both are deleted when you close the tab.
How long we keep enquiries
We keep enquiry records for as long as we need them to respond to you and to manage any resulting business relationship, and then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing utilitycorporationwalid@gmail.com or calling +880 1718-003440.
